Chain Plates
- Chain plate removal
- X-ray inspection for flaws, or just replace?
- Will all chain plates need removing, or can a select few be used as a sample base?
- I think headstay plate needs attention regardless
- Would they benefit from having a stainless backing plate on the inside on top of the current wooden one? Currently plate nuts have a backing washer pushing into a wood backing plate
- If the chain plates look weak, I want to replace with silicon bronze from a local source if possible.
- or there is always Allied Titanium if price affordibly
Boom goose-neck
- The bushing piece that connects the boom to the mast needs replacement
- Distance needs to be maintained in order for mainsail to keep dimensions (the tack hank)
Mast Rebuild
- Cost the same for a new mast/boom instead of all this work?
- bring 3 halyards internal, 1 stays external, new sheaves
- new standing rigging hardware, toggles, hardware, bolts, etc.
- assume Dynex Dux rope rigging is going to be used
- spreader hardware inspection/replacement, new boots
- Masthead
- cut top off, install one with fasteners not welded

Rudder/Tiller Rebuild
- Teardown of rudder/tiller assembly
- X-ray inspection of rudder for flaws (or whatever is equivalent for inspecting rudder issues)
- Reassembly of rudder/tiller, removing any play from the tiller (new bushings, fasteners, etc)
Standing Rigging
- Work with Colligo Marine on a Dynex Dux system
- oversize the headstay?
- Can old bronze turnbuckles be heat treated and re-used?
- if not, new turnbuckles or go with deadeye terminators?
Stern port/starboard internal chainplates
- Strong fixed points for fastening a bridle for a series drogue
- Should also be able to use for running backstays for future solent or inner stay.
New toerail tracks
- black, through-bolted, recommendations on what kind of track
